How daily puzzles work
- A new set of puzzles arrives at midnight, your local time. Everyone playing on the same day gets the same deals — a nice one to compare with a friend over the phone.
- In Pyramid, TriPeaks, Golf and Mahjong, every daily deal can be won. In FreeCell, the daily deal is never one of the few impossible ones.
- The daily Sudoku is a Medium puzzle, the daily Minesweeper board can be cleared by logic at any level, and the daily word search, word scramble and crossword share a new theme every day, and the daily cryptogram is a Medium puzzle.
- In Hearts, Spades, Euchre, Cribbage, Gin Rummy, Crazy Eights, Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, Dominoes, Reversi and Mancala you play the daily game against the computer, and it counts towards your streak once the game is over, whether or not you win.
Your streak
Your streak is the number of days in a row you've finished at least one daily puzzle. It stays alive until the end of today, so there's no rush in the morning — play whenever suits you.
Your streak is saved in this browser, on this device only, like your games. If you play on two devices, each keeps its own streak, and clearing your browser's data starts it again from zero.
