Why large print?
Small, crowded print makes puzzles tiring. Our word searches use big, bold letters with plenty of space, on a grid of 12 × 12 — or 10 × 10 for extra-large letters — and words only go across, down and diagonally, never backwards. Our Sudoku fills most of the page, with numbers about a third of an inch tall and squares roomy enough to write in comfortably. Our crosswords give the grid a page of its own, with squares about half an inch wide, and print the clues in 18-point type. Our cryptograms give every letter a square more than a third of an inch wide, with the code letter printed clearly underneath.
